Must know "Waikiki" and "I Will Remember You".
This is a memorial service for my husband, Peter, who was born and raised in Honolulu. The event will be hosted at The Triton Museum of Art. The musical option could be a Hawaiian band (no amps needed for venue) or soloist. The band or soloist will begin playing in the atrium around 5:00 PM. The band/soloist and hula dancer would then move into one of the galleries and perform during the one hour service: once at the beginning (around 6 PM) and once at the end (around 7 PM). They must perform these two songs: "Waikiki" and "I Will Remember You". The hula dancer is not needed after the service. The band or soloist will then play for about an hour at the reception in the atrium. The dress for the hula dancer should be elegant. We are looking for an experience that one would find during Happy Hour at The Halekulani. I hope we can work together on this. Thanks!
