With a 30-year career as a recording artist, songwriter, and entertainer, Dan Frechette delivers a live music experience tailored to your luxury milestones, weddings, and corporate galas, including celebrations hosted by Meta, Citi Bank, Toyota, Hitachi, and the international APEC Conference.

With an extraordinary repertoire of over 2,000 classic and contemporary hits, Dan is able to curate the perfect atmosphere any event timeline. Specializing in performing 20th-century classics with authenticity, his musical reach spans Pop, Rock, Motown, Blues, Jazz, Country, Folk, and Bluegrass. Whether delivering the brilliant songbooks of Lennon/McCartney, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and Simon & Garfunkel, or executing modern hits, his performances are tailored to match the aesthetic, mood, and volume requirements of your venue.

Because luxury events require adaptive entertainment, Dan scales his performance offerings across three tiers:
• Solo Singing or Instrumental Guitarist: Authentic, heartfelt vocals paired with orchestral style acoustic guitar technique for a rich solo experience.
• Luxury Acoustic Duo: An elegant, sophisticated violin-guitar husband-wife duet designed to elevate your wedding, cocktail hour, or formal reception.
• Gala Cover Band: A dynamic 3-6 piece ensemble featuring electric guitars, bass, drums, and harmony vocalists engineered to fill the dance floor.

Dan’s musical foundation is rooted in exceptional artistry. Signed to EMI Publishing at just 17 as one of Canada's youngest songwriting talents, he spent years touring internationally, honing an intuitive ability to read a room and captivate diverse crowds across North America and Europe.

As a songwriter, Dan has performed major international music festivals - including the Winnipeg Folk Festival, Edmonton Folk Festival, and the Kate Wolf Music Festival - sharing stages and shaking hands with legends like Taj Mahal, Gordon Lightfoot, and Doc Watson. An accomplished composer, Dan's original songwriting has been recognized by icons such as David Bowie, featured in motion pictures, and recorded globally by celebrated artists including The Duhks, Dervish, and Tania Elizabeth of The Avett Brothers.

Whether designing a volume-sensitive backdrop for executive networking or driving a high-energy dance floor, Dan pairs his profound multi-instrumental mastery (including mandolin, lap steel, and resonator guitars) with professionalism. Every booking includes a commitment to clockwork logistics, clear vendor coordination, and a presentation that guarantees a memorable, world-class event.

Dan is fully equipped to be completely self-sufficient, requiring minimal oversight once on-site. To ensure a seamless performance and maintain the highest production standards, the venue or host must provide the following standard accommodations:
• A Dedicated Power Source: Access to a reliable, standard electrical outlet or extension cord within 25-50 feet of the performance space.
• Staging & Seating: A level performance area and a sturdy, armless chair or stool.
• Climate & Element Protection (Essential for Outdoor Events): To protect instruments and electronics, overhead covering or robust natural shade is required for all outdoor bookings. This applies to events held in direct sunlight or under any threat of precipitation, including heavy fog.
