From Farmers markets to birthday parties, my audience is invited to join in the music by using my rhythm instrument toys, singing songs karaoke style, and requesting songs that custom-fit the event. As a teaching musician, my values come across to people of all ages: Positivity, engagement, and inclusivity.
With me, you are also hiring a pro musician who will bring all his own equipment so you can focus on event logistics and living in the moment on your special day.

May 19, 2026Tom Farley was the consummate professional. From the beginning Tom was easy to work with and eager to communicate about all the things it might take to make our son’s birthday party a success. He was punctual, showed up early and had things ready to go with time to spare.
As far as Tom’s live performance, he didn’t disappoint; allowed the kids and adults alike to get involved, sing along and play percussive instruments! And his willingness to learn a few songs ahead of time was a definite plus!
As far as musicality and artistry, he has my complete endorsement. His ability to sing and play on key especially with songs he was asked to learn in advance went beyond expectation. Good sounds, good tone; an excellent musician in my opinion. I feel he has a strong commitment to his craft. He was also relatively unbothered by all the party-related distractions. His down to earth, unassuming demeanor makes it all the better.
All in all I'm delighted to say that I was completely satisfied with the experience. Very much looking forward to our next event with Tom!

I am a singing guitarist who does looping covers and writes their own original songs. My strength is family-friendly music, playing everything from current pop hits to nostalgic hits and Disney songs. I'm flexible on any genre, but lean towards singer-songwriter indie folk as an artist.
Music has always been my passion. I’ve been in bands and writing songs since I was 14, and along the way learned how to use a looper and do my one-man act. I was born and raised in Palo Alto, and have been pursuing gigs ever since I moved back from college in 2019. After six years of doing local Farmers markets—and becoming an elementary school teacher along the way—I have joined GigSalad to do private events!
I have my own battery-powered amp, mics, and other performance equipment. With my setup, I regularly play farmer's market and private event gigs needing a self-contained power source. However, I'm also experienced with using professional PA systems, so I'm flexible to use whatever tools are available for the event.
