Megan Stoneson

Megan Steinke (Stine-kee) is a Jazz/Soul-inspired Singer/Songwriter from San Jose, CA.
She currently performs around the central coast and produces/records her own music. She just came out with the album "Another Side" in Feb 2019, showcasing her piano/guitar playing, smooth vocals, and collaborations with other rising musicians. Musical inspirations come from old and new artists including Norah Jones, Corinne Bailey Rae, Lianne La Havas, Alina Baraz/Galimatas, and more.

Megan started writing songs at the age of around 17, when she and her sister wanted to record some Christmas songs as a gift for their mom. After playing around with a cheap microphone and Garageband, Megan started experimenting and writing her own songs. With her classical piano experience, love of creative writing, and newfound passion for music production, Megan continued to write and record her own music. From the very first album of "Something New" (2016) to "Close to One" (2017), Megan has been developing her style and putting out new music. With "Another Side" as well as her past albums, Megan wrote about her experiences, her faith, and her dreams. Megan wants to be real in her music and in her messages, and her Christian background and positivity definitely show through. She also writes about her thoughts and struggles, as a way of dealing with inner conflict and relationship struggles.
