About

We play a collection of old standards, new hits, and include our own versions of some hits from other genres, in a bluegrass style. Our show is high energy and fast paced, with a slow song or two to catch our breath. We have our own sound equipment and are capable from the smallest venue to just about any size building. We enjoy what we do and love the bluegrass sound, and we try to put that exact feeling across at every show. We are situated in Alamance and Guilford counties.

Influences

We have all been involved with different genres over our lives. While our present day music has been heavily influenced by Bill Monroe, Blue Highway, Lonesome River, Mountain Heart and The Steel Drivers, our involvement in country, folk, and rock have helped us evolve into a truly original sound. We do not strive to cover tunes we like, but rather make them our own using our individual experiences.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 60 - 240 minutes

We want the audience to enjoy our music on a personal level with the band. We love our music, and we are all very close friends. At the end of the set, we want to have a whole bunch of new friends that enjoy the time with us as much as we enjoy our time with them.

Our sound systems can be comprised of two surround sound MXL microphones and a couple of speakers, or a full stage compliment.

While we do many standard bluegrass songs like, Old Home Place, Long Gone, East Virginia Blues, Muddy Water, Long Black Veil, Fox on the Run, and How Mountain Girls can Love, we have our own revamped versions of Wild Horses by the Stones, Can't Get Enough Of Your Love by Bad Company, Steve Earl's Copperhead Road, and Otis Redding's Dock of the Bay. They just come out bluegrass!
