Need to be ready to start performing at 5:30 PM (or a little sooner). Need to be able to remove all equipment during a short break at the event.
The event is a dinner honoring Jockey employees who have 15 years of service or more - the Jockey Club. It begins with a cocktail hour, dinner, and a program. Guests are socializing during cocktail hour and talking at their tables throughout dinner, but will also enjoy the entertainment. So the band is needed for the first two hours of the event. After the band leaves, we continue with a program inducting (roasting) new members into the Club and honoring others with long-time service.
