Good entertainment
D.R. Wells Medicine Show performed for COJO 2013 at Laurel Lakes Campground located in Salemburg, NC. There was excellent communication leading up to the show date. The band was punctual and all the members friendly. The band brought a following of fans and preformed as professionals on stage. I would highly recommend this band for Bluegrass entertainment. They will definitely be invited back to our next event.

About
Formed by Darrald Wells (Lead Guitar) & Robert Phillips (Mandolin) in 2011 as their small contribution in the preservation of our Southern bluegrass and gospel heritage. Darrald and Robert both grew up listening to bluegrass on Saturday night and sitting on a hard church pew listening to the Preacher come Sunday morning. To them, bluegrass and gospel is tightly intertwined and is more than just music. It is indeed a reflection of our heritage, where the struggles and happiness of everyday life is put into song. Sharing Darrald’s and Robert’s love for traditional bluegrass & gospel are Bobby Carpenter (Banjo), Sheila Marshall (Fiddle), and Milton Horne (Bass). The roots of bluegrass and gospel run deep in Bobby, Sheila and Milton. Together we will mix you up a remedy that is guaranteed to warm your heart with memories and get your foot a tapping. Good medicine for an ailing soul, that’s why they call themselves the Medicine Show.
