About

“Country Saloon” is a Russian Bluegrass band from Nizhny Novgorod. The band plays a hard drive Bluegrass style. Today, most of their material is original and composed by the leader of the band Michael Dushin (banjo). They took part at numerous bluegrass and country events in Russia and abroad. In 2006 and 2007 they took 2nd place at the European Bluegrass Festivals that were held in La Roche sur Foron (France). In 2008 they gave several concerts in Tennessee, USA and took part at the famous TV show “Song Of The Mountains” at Lincoln Theatre (Marion, VA.)
