Overview
The Angel City Bluegrass Boys are a traditional bluegrass band based out of Los Angeles. The line up is usually Mandolin, Banjo, Guitar, and Upright Bass, with 3 part harmonies, but can also include a 5th member who plays fiddle, or can be paired down to a trio or duo. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Greg Fleischut (mandolin, vocals) and David Elsenbroich (guitar, vocals) joined forces with Southern California natives Zac Sokolow (banjo, vocals) and Jake Faulkner (bass) to form the group. Together they play a whole variety of traditional styles including straight ahead bluegrass, honky tonk, and gospel. They play all over California and beyond.

Americana Band
Zac was professional, talented, and easy going. The Sokolow Bluegrass Band (Trio option) was perfect for our school's Back to School Picnic. Our families enjoyed themselves and everything went smoothly. My only suggestion would be to play recorded music during the 10 minute set break so there isn't dead air. Thank you Zac!

The Angel City Bluegrass Boys are a 4 piece traditional bluegrass band based out of Los Angeles. The line up is Mandolin, Banjo, Guitar and Upright Bass, with 3 part harmonies. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Greg Fleischut (mandolin, vocals) and David Elsenbroich (guitar, vocals) joined forces with Southern California natives Zac Sokolow (banjo, vocals) and Jake Faulkner (bass) to form the group. Together they play a whole variety of traditional styles including straight ahead honky tonk, and gospel. They play all over California and beyond, and our occasionally joined by a fiddler as well.
