Why hire Stained Grass Window?
A 5 piece ensemble playing bluegrass and acoustic music to audiences large and small since 1993. We play primarily in PA/NY/NJ/DE/MD but we've performed in the Bahamas on a bluegrass cruise with Valerie Smith and at the Poppy Mountain Bluegrass festival in Kentucky. While we do mostly festival work our calendar usually includes a wedding or two every year.

Influences
Vocally the Seldon Scene undoubtedly is a big influence as is the Nashville Bluegrass Band, Ronnie Bowman and a number of others. Instrumentally, each of us has a favorite performer but we're not going to be any of them. We have over the years worked fairly hard to develope our skills and improve our competence as performers.
What to Expect
Our repoertoire consists of traditional and contemporary bluegrass numbers, some instrumenal, some vocal. The vocal selections feature the strengths of the individual performers supported by harmonies from the others.
