A Trip to Havana
Picture a sultry summer night amongst palm fronds and tropical flowers, a citrus-flavored drink in hand, and the romantic sounds of smooth, latin jazzy cocktail music swirling around you and transporting you to old Havana.
Such was the sights and sounds when I attended a Cuban-themed cocktail and dinner party where this musician entertained us all night with his romantic mix of latin, tango and bossa nova. I loved every minute of it and judging by the guests lingering way past the dinner hour, they did too. No one wanted the music to end, it was that good!
Nigel Bellis and his group offered a beautiful blend of silky jazzy cocktail music with some livelier latin jazz tunes to get everyone in a party mood!
His music will take you away and make you feel like you are on a balmy beach in the South Seas or a romantic cafe in South America.
I think Nigel Bellis would be the perfect entertainment for wedding or cocktail receptions, but also wonderful for intimate dinner parties or corporate events.

Cool vibe at a hot 'end of summer party'
While attending a large outdoor end of summer party, I was witness to the incredible sounds of Nigel Bellis. His original work encompassed themes/moods from around the world, appealing to all ages and music tastes. His unique romantic sound had us swaying,or dancing barefoot in the grass to the jazzy beat accompanied by an artful bongo. I want a CD and hope it is soon!

For the last 20 years he has combined his work as a successful TV producer with writing music for many of the various shows he has worked on.
These days he tends to concentrate on creating songs with a contemporary feel in a fusion of styles....a hint of tango, rumba, bolero, smooth jazz, Cuban, flamenco....
His music is designed to evoke a number of thoughts - of romance in far flung places, sun-drenched picturesque villages, a quiet day at the beach, and an exciting late night party somewhere in Latin America.
