April 22, 2026Cold Fire was amazing
Music was fantastic for our crowd. The band was easy to work with to get the details set. Showed up in plenty of time to set up and were really professional. I cannot say enough about them. Played all the way through cleanup of our event. Nice touch for the clean up crew. I HIGHLY recommend.

December 16, 2025Great band for our fundraiser event
Cold Fire played our animal-rescue fundraiser event. Typical fundraiser where the band plays in between announcements and auctioneering. They were perfect for this and played a great mix of laid back 60s to 80s music. It was a big room so we used them with the full drum kit. They did a good job of keeping things at an appropriate volume as this was more of a mingling event rather than one with a dance floor. All was great and we highly recommend them. Kudos to them for being big supporters of our cause and doing the event at a very reasonable rate.

October 12, 2025Great guys, lots of fun, excellent and unique musicans
We've seen them several times at a local bar in Vestavia. Hired them for a house party with about 60 people present. The music they play is perfect if you just want great songs from the Beatles to the 80's period. They play some electric, some acoustic, and it is unique having the fiddle on a bunch of the songs. They were easy to deal with gave us a lot more for the money than we were expecting as they played overtime and did requests at no extra charge.

Thanks Robby. We enjoyed being part of your event and will be glad to do it again any time.

What to expect
We play Classic Rock, Soul and Blues along with some Classic Country. Our music is primarily from the 60's to the 80's. We perform in any format: Solo, Duo, Trio, or Four-Piece. No originals, no obscure music. We do a fair amount of many styles including rock, pop, country, soul, and blues. We are however, not a "party band" and we do not do dance music. There are ballads and contemplative songs, there are upbeat rockers. But keeping people on a dance floor is not our thing. We are adept at playing to any volume level - from Jazz Brunches to Loud Bars. We can change our percussion from full-kit drums to lighter rigs like a cajon or bongos for lower volume settings. We also perform acoustic with no percussion at all if needed.
A sample of the artists we cover: Dylan, Hendrix, U2, Clapton, Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac, Merle Haggard, Steve Miller, Glen Campbell, GreenDay, Dave Matthews, Otis Redding, Doobie Brothers, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Allman Brothers, Tom Petty, Chuck Berry, Bill Withers, Phil Collins, ZZ Top, CCR, Pink Floyd, Willie Nelson, SRV, Lyle Lovett, Billy Joel, Chris Isaak, etc.
