Knockaz Brass Band
Overview
The Knockaz Brass Band is the leading group in the next generation of New Orleans Traditional Brass Bands. The band specializes in New Orleans Second-Line arrangements, along with traditional jazz pieces and go-go funk music. The Knockaz also does covers of popular tunes. The band has a unique way of creating an environment for fun and freedom. The experience with the Knockaz Brass Band is one to be remembered for a lifetime. As a band, our mission is to bring an authentic New Orleans experience to each client. The band has performed for Festivals, Weddings, Birthday Parties, Graduations, and Social Events. No matter what the occasion, we have a group ready to show up and show out.

The Knockaz Brass Band did their thing for our wedding! They were very open to working with the possible wedding changes. Thankfully, no changes were made and the original outdoor plans remained. The band was prompt and played multiple songs that we enjoyed to keep everyone up and on the floor. They gave my out of town husband and guests the authentic New Orleans second line experience! We thoroughly enjoyed and would HIGLY recommend! The price was fair for the amount of band members and time that they played those heavy instruments in that heat! Thank you all so much!!!

I was a little nervous about hiring a band online - but after working with Knockaz I can't wait to work with them again! They provided clear communication throughout the entire process. They arrived on time, dressed as advertised, AND THEY SOUNDED INCREDIBLE!! My guests were so impressed (and my guests are from the NOLA area so they know good music). I only wish we'd planned a longer route so we could have spent more time dancing to their music. Thank you Knockaz! Y'all did a great job.

December 12, 2016Expectations Exceeded!!!!
First off I have to say WOW. From the time this band arrived (On time)..to the destination point, this group of fine musicians showed completely out. They took 2min to tune up and then...MAGIC happened. I knew we would have a great time but this was wayyy beyond our expectations. I can't say enough about how grateful I am for bringing such good music to the best day of our lives. Not to mention all the spectators that were attracted to our celebration due to thesee guys. The brass band was absolutely awesome! They were professional, on time, and brought such great energy to our reception. They had everyone up and dancing, and every guest loved them. They helped create such a fun and memorable atmosphere, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend hiring them for any event. You won’t be disappointed!
