October 14, 2025Meghanne performed at the celebration of life for my partner.
She began with a dreamy, soulful rendition of a John Denver song I requested. And—no disrespect to JD—Meghanne transformed it into something so much more: soulful, spiritual, real. My partner would have loved her version even more. (Please record this so everyone can hear it 💜)
I also asked for her inspiring original piece, Motivated, but grew uncertain at the last moment whether it would fit the occasion. I reached out in a panic shortly before the event. Meghanne immediately called me back. She listened with compassion, and reassured me with, ‘Let me see what I can do.’ and I knew she heard me. I let go of my anxiety.
The result was extraordinary. After an incredibly powerful performance of Flower That Shattered the Stone, Meghanne delivered a slightly slower, dreamier version of Motivated—it was the inspiring song I wanted and still perfectly suited the occasion.
Meghanne transitioned into her final song Silent Lucidity. She sang three beautiful songs (one more than agreed upon) from three different genres, and blended them so effortlessly it was as if they belonged this way.
Meghanne was professional, approachable, and deeply empathetic. I wholeheartedly recommend Meghanne Storey to anyone seeking a performer who can bring both artistry and authenticity to life’s most meaningful moments.
