Weddings:
As you walk down the aisle, you'll be greeted by your loved one's comforting faces, incredible floral smells, and decor. Picture me in a beautiful dress elegantly paired with the party colors just off to the side. You'll hear me setting the atmosphere, holding the focus of the guests, and taking them on a journey with heartwarming melodies. Your romantic favorites will be performed at a soothing volume, soulful vocal tone, and accompanied sweet sounding guitar. The music will help you remember this day with elated tears. (Upon request, Sarah can also embellish the moment with fun, playful, and energetic hits from 1960s to today)

Cocktail Hour:
While pictures are being taken, envision me dressed to impress across from the delicious appetizers serenading the guests with the couple's favorites. From love songs to the ones that hold dear memories and deep meaning, you'll hear me performing each one just loud enough to fill the space where everyone can easily take selfies and enjoy their conversations.

Rehearsal Dinner/Private parties/Dinner Parties/Birthday Dinners:
While everyone is enjoying the night and toasting over dinner celebrating, picture me in a semi formal outfit adding sprinkles of guest of honor's favorite songs with your meal. All are welcome to listen, sing along, or share a laugh or a fun story with the party. If there's any inspiration, dance if you wish!

Private Concert:
Picture me dressed in my best artist outfit playing some original songs you've heard, and some you haven't! You'll be pleasantly surprised when I throw a few of your favorites, fun personable conversation, and keep the crowd happy with a few of my best covers. Depending upon the set list and flow of events, guests may be encouraged to request songs and engage with the artist (Sarah) during the performance.

Marriage Proposals/Telegrams:
Picture me as the perfect surprise treat to set the mood to your proposal! As you prepare your speech for your sweetie, I'll play 1-2 songs of your choice to support the magical once in a lifetime moment that you'll be talking about for years.

Sarah Lightman is locally based in Nashville, Tennessee, but she travels all over the USA and beyond for private events and soon touring! She started in music as a street performer in Downtown Burbank, CA and climbed to having her music video featured on the jumbotron at Universal CityWalk, Los Angeles while performing at various residencies all over the city and touring on the East Coast - including the NAMM Mainstage and CityWalk. She has also performed at The Water Lantern Festival and was invited back to play multiple cities and states throughout 2023. She most recently worked with Pfizer, Coca Cola’s Coke Studios, and performed at an after party for NASCAR this October 2023. More info on my website.

Her main focus is advocating for mental health through the medium of her original songs. By sharing the adversity she has overcome, the resilience she has developed, and the wisdom she learns, she hopes to help others know they can face their fears and live beyond theirs too.

I'll be bringing a wireless JBL PA system (one speaker, can being a second speaker if necessary) with an Audix 0M7 standard mic setup as well as any additional cables, iPad and clip, stands, and such. Since both the PA system and guitar are powered up by charged batteries, no power will be needed! Just a shady spot (if outside) that is friendly for the instrument, and equipment so that the space can be filled appropriately.
