Mara Love, a songbird from Chicago, is the oldest of six born to a musical family. As a trained (20+ years) vocalist, pianist, and songwriter, Mara draws her inspiration from legends such as Tracy Chapman, Whitney Houston, Ella Fitzgerald, and Celine Dion. With the mentality of “whether it be a small few or a ton, as long as I make an impact on one, my job is done.” Mara fuses captivating storytelling and a soulful, indie sound to touch audiences with her poetry. She was a contestant on season 3 of X Factor USA and has toured as a professional background vocalist for Heart (Ann/Mancy Wilson), Barbara Streisand and more! ♥️

Microphone(s) is(are) not required if the venue space is intimate or has good acoustics.
If using tracks and sound check is unavailable before the event, give 10-15 mins for a sound check before the time scheduled for the event.
If using live instruments (provided), set aside 10-15 for a soundcheck/run with band/orchestra.
If you require a specific wardrobe for the event there is a $10 charge.
There is traveling fee of charge per mile outside of Chicago.
If instruments are required (no tracks) but not provided there is a $25 charge for one (piano or guitar), $50+ for additional (full band/orchestra)
Personal songs - if you request a song to be made for a specific person or “topic” for your event, there is a $50 charge per song.
