I am focusing on VIRTUAL Close-Up & Parlor Magic
Yes - VIRTUAL. It's possible to have a complete, audience participation magic show.
This is especially great for people in elder care facilities. Yet, it is just plain fun for all occasions.
Corporate, company brown bag lunches or special events, and Private Parties -
Your event will be enhanced by my delightful magic and the kind of mentalism that leaves people thinking, "Maybe..."
Of course, just because there's mystery doesn't mean there isn't plenty of fun and whimsy. There's no blue material, and no embarrassment for any of your guests.
Shop wisely by making a phone call and discussing your event's needs.
Price Range: $325 and up per hour
Gig Length: 20 - 90 minutes
Languages: English
My idea of professional magic is that it is also easy to put in place and facilitate for the hosts and organizers. "Professional" means more than "Do it for money". It means showing up in plenty of time, needing little input or direction, making the event planner's job as easy as possible and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
The magic is all about creating mysteries that are so well performed, imbued with humor, that the audience is saying "Wow!" before saying "How?".
You get a show that works for the most intimate of groups to a parlor sized group.
I can perform strolling among your guest, either standing or at tables.
No large box tricks, no critters nor birds, no assistants or pyrotechnics.
I dress well, do effects that are classics (but not copied), and treat the audience and volunteers with respect. I don't have the so-called street magician look or feel. My magic is good clean fun.
Specially themed events can be created, from wedding royalty to anniversaries, to corporate events and special home dinner parties.
When necessary, I like to have conversations with the event planner regarding any special needs or desires.
I've been performing mentalism professionally since 1972.
My resume includes corporate special events. also adding a themed element when requested.
I perform complete mental stage acts as well as strolling mind magic entertainment
I also teach magic and mentalism to young folks for the University of Minnesota youth summer camp.
I have a small sound system that works indoors for a hundred some folks, and outdoors for nearly as many. For bigger audiences, an in place system is provided. I can facilitate that, but with a rental of equipment fee. Large, auditorium type gigs that require sound and lighting must accommodated by the host and pre-approved by me.
