Singer/songwriter, performing solo accompanying myself on guitar. I sing my own songs about life in rural Missouri, as well as traditional country, folk and gospel songs. The flavor of my music is old-timey but light and easy listening. My wife and I operate a small goat farm in the hills near Truman Lake, and many of the songs I write are about life here. Since I write my own material and otherwise generally stick to songs in the public domain, I can perform for hours without infringing on anyone else's copyright. That means the venue is not subject to license requirements by ASCAP or others in the music industry cartel. I sometimes perform at funerals, singing gospel songs requested.
