My music is great for weddings, backyard parties, family reunions, cocktail hours, corporate parties & restaurants. I can create both a relaxed vibe for mingling and upbeat music for singing along to.
As a Berklee College of Music trained vocalist, my soulful voice & engaging stage presence will keep your guests entertained all night long. From Motown, to classic rock, country to modern pop hits, I play a variety of music to fit a diverse crowd. I offer a variety of setups to fit your unique needs, including a full band with a horn section.

Maria was fantastic to work with and offered flexibility as my party details kept changing. Fortunately she was available to continue and perform at our event. She was a perfect fit. We had a 60th birthday party for my wife. We had 60 people attend and they all absolutely loved Maria! Maria was beyond perfect! She kept out guests entertained. They all loved her. Everybody complimented Maria and wondered where we found her! Maria showed up two hours early before she was scheduled to play. She is very professional, Beyond sweet and kind. She has a lovely voice and is wonderful guitar player. Her music selection was very appropriate for the mood of the guests. She even let my dad and I sit in with her. The short review does not do her Talent Justice. Please do not hesitate to hire this wonderful lady, you will the very pleased!

Maria Rose created the perfect musical vibe at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour! We requested specialty songs that Maria performed perfectly, the timing was impeccable, and even with very windy conditions, Maria was able to play with no issue. We are so lucky to have found her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone that wants that perfectly moody, vibey, love-filled wedding atmosphere.

What to expect
You can expect a prompt and early set-up time and a professional and polite attitude.
You can expect to have a sound system that fits the size of your event. I can provide lights for an additional fee.
You can expect a powerful, professional, engaging and energetic performance. Depending on what you book it will include pop, top 40's, Motown, classic rock, jazz or r&B
You can expect good communication.
If you require 2-4 hours of music, I perform sets as follows:
1st set will be 1 hour. Followed by a 15 minute break. 2nd-4th sets will be 45 minutes as well with 15 minute breaks in between.
About
Elevate your event and impress your guests by hiring a Berklee College of Music trained vocalist with a soulful & beautiful voice that is accompanied by a lively acoustic guitar and engaging stage presence.
I've been performing professionally for over 20 years and my music goes well at weddings, private parties, family reunions, corporate parties, bars and restaurants.
I was named after the main character in the play "The sound of music" because my mother was in the musical while she was pregnant for me (ironically she played one of the nuns). So, I've been surrounded by the sounds of music since before birth!
I play a wide variety of music that appeals to many different age groups: Motown, pop, 60's-90's, today's top hits, and classic rock. From Aretha Franklin to The Eagles, Taylor Swift to Ed Sheeran. I like to play a variety of songs from all eras that people love to sing along with. If there is a certain genre or style you'd like me to focus on, I can zero in on that as well.
I'm very good at reading a room and setting the volume level to fit. I also watch how people react to certain genres and play more of whatever people are responding to.
I am a full time, professional musician. I play solo as a singer guitarist. I can also perform as a Duo, Trio and all the way up to a full 9 piece dance band. I offer a wide variety of setups to fit your needs:
-Solo singing guitarist
- Acoustic Duo - Male and female vocalists
- Cocktail hour music
-Tropical/Caribbean duo (Steel Drum, Guitar, Ukelele)
- Full 7-9 piece dance band with a horn section
- I provide a sound set up. Just make sure I have access to power
-If there are specific songs you'd like to hear, I take song requests before the event and add them to my song list.
