With a warm and inviting voice accompanied by skillful guitar work, this award winning songwriter sprinkles in some of his best originals with a long list of classic covers that draw from the singer/songwriters of the 50's, 60's and 70's, but don't be surprised if you hear a Britney Spears song thrown into the mix! Bob is seasoned professional with 45 plus years of performance experience. Bob's goal is to create a comfortable atmosphere for your guests so they can enjoy the music and still hold a conversation.

We engaged these talented musicians for our annual Blue Ribbon Bash fundraiser held in the indoor arena/country ballroom at our equestrian facility in September. This is the 6th time we have used them and they are always spectacular! In any combination - solo, duo, or trio - these talented musician/vocalists- Bob, Matt, and Trent are a hit. The music selection, the volume, and the enthusiasm is always exactly right. They provide the perfect background for dinner, drinks, conversation, negotiation, and other fundraising shenanigans. Highest recommendation from guests, volunteers, vendors, staff, and even the horses... Yay Bob Skon Trio!

Bob’s performance was the highlight of the party. He played something for everyone and the guests were very impressed by his talent. One woman said that she felt like she had front row seats at a concert. I would definitely hire Bob for future events.

November 22, 2024Excellent entertainment for our community senior center
Bob was very professional from the time of receiving a quote all the way through the performance the day of. Our buffet for the event was running a bit behind and he was very kind and waited an extra 15 minutes to start so everyone had an opportunity to go through the line and get started with their meal. Our seniors at our community senior center loved him! He did a variety of music and he even took requests from the audience as well as did an encore for them. Thanks again Bob for being so accommodating and bringing smiles to our faces with your musical performance!! Would definitely book him again in the future.

What to expect
I arrive 45 minutes prior to your event and will be set up and ready to go by start time. The volume will be kept to a level where your guests will easily be able to hold a conversation and still enjoy the music.
Additional booking notes
Access to one power outlet is the only technical requirement. I can also play without a PA for small gatherings, in which case there are no technical requirements.
For outdoor gigs a covering or shaded area is appreciated, but not required.
