There is not any words that can describe how awesome George made our party. The vibe he brought to our graduation party brunch was beyond stellar. His professionalism is top notch, from our early communication, to the grad party playlist collaboration, to just chatting at the party, it was all spot on. George was a pleasure performing and when he was on a break. My only regret is that I didn’t hire him to play the whole entire party, our guests truly wished he could have stayed as much as I did! We are hoping to have George perform at our next big event!! Thank you George for making our day memorable!!!!

What to expect
I have my own PA, mics, and instruments.
I provide a solo singing guitarist service, featuring Pop, Soul, R&B, Rock, Hip-Hop, and some Country covers. I can also play original music within those genres as well.
I love to entertain at various event formats and locales, including weddings, birthdays, parties, clubs, bars, community homes, and corporate events.
About
George Montrelle, a Pop driven singer-songwriter from Detroit — features colors of R&B and Soul, edges of Rock, and touches of Hip-Hop.
Originally, things began in his room as a teen in high school (2009), where he first picked up guitar, singing, and songwriting. As his cathartic outlet in progressed, he developed his talents and eventually found the Detroit Institute of Music Education (DIME Detroit). While studying for his Bachelor’s in Commercial Songwriting (grad. 2020), he was awarded work placement via the school office doing cover gigs, due to academic talent and achievements.
Since then, he has committed to performing and cover entertainment across Detroit and the Metro Area, and engineers his original music independently.
Now, he channels the spirit of Motown, and is guided by the tones of Stevie Wonder, Allen Stone, and Hiatus Kaiyote. Further, Montrelle weaves an uplifting and honest outlook, with his passion for love and life, to create his Soulful-Rock style displayed in Love Unfolding, his self-produced debut EP.
George Montrelle is known for his solo act, and also performs with his own 2-to-4-piece band.
