When she arrives at the party you wont find LuAnn as she has already transformed herself into Marilyn! Absolutely impeccable performance!
For my fiance's 60th birthday party I wanted a rat-pack, club feel and "Marilyn" was to be the centerpiece of the party. and this "Marilyn" did not dissappoint! LuAnn was absolutely perfect in everyway - and my fiance and my guests loved her! Marilyn (LuAnn) sang the JFK version of "Happy Birthday" in the most sultry way - then topped it off with "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" and other selections of our choice. All I can say is - what a voice! My guests ranged in age from 20 - 65 and all of them raved over LuAnn's performance and are still talking about this party a week later! As an aside, even though LuAnn looks great as Marilyn Monroe in this picture, I can only say that she looks even better in person. I addition to all this, LuAnn is very professional. If you are looking for a Marilyn Monroe tribute performance - LuAnne is the person for you. If you are looking for someone with a beautiful voice to sing for you - book her! You and your guests will love the show!

Hello,
I'd like to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about me, My Name is LuAnn Dutra a.k.a Lulu. I'm a native of Rhode Island and a vocal entertainer. Music has and always will be my first love. I have been performing in shows starting at the young age of five. As the years went on I attended East Providence High School where I was chosen to sing in the elite East Providence choir leers ….
At age 14 I attended Thoroughly Modern Dance Studio. I loved the stage and felt comfortable there….I called it “HOME”.
I went on to study dance for many years at such studios as Dance Studio One, Fancy Dancers with whom I performed on cruise ships and on the famous Boardwalk in New Jersey .
Attending many competitions and dance shows I then decided to pursue my singing career once my children were grown! I have enjoyed entertaining in places like Capriccios, Camille’s, 39 West and The Pearl just to name a few. I also perform at corporate events,fundraisers and private parties.
Every now and then you can also “catch me if you can” singing with my brother Mike Dutra…..yes Strictly Sinatra’s Mike Dutra!!
I am now a solo vocalist and looking forward to my future years creating special memories for all my audiences.

Influences
I have been influenced by Marilyn Monroes performance in the film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes which was released in the 1950's.My performance has been inspired by the singers,songwriters,choreographers and actors of their time.If I could pick any era to live in,it would have been the 30's,40's and 50's.
What to Expect
The audience will experience a step back in time to the 50's when Broadway was your first choice for entertainment.It will be a very memorable experience with lots of fun and nostalgia.
