Lyndel is among a new breed of highly entertaining magicians. No cheesy tricks, no cliche's rabbits out of hats -just modern, unique, funky comedy magic presented in an off-beat humorous style.

Although he'll disarm you with his natural wit - don't let it fool you - it's his way of drawing you in to his wacky world that will not only make you laugh hysterically, but will make you scratch your head in total disbelief!

Biography:

LYNDEL was born Tim Scarbrough in Central Florida. The youngest of five brothers, Tim became interested in magic at age seven when a cousin showed him a few simple coin & card tricks and the rest as they say... is history. Lyndel was encouraged by his parents, who bought him magic sets & books.

Lyndel continued to perfect his art - and by age 13, had appeared on television and on stages all across the state of Florida. In 1978, at the ripe old age of 14, Lyndel took his act on the road in a tour that spanned the entire United States.

After graduating from high school, Lyndel found a new interest that amazed him almost as much as the magic that he performed, law enforcement. Lyndel began his career in law enforcement in 1983. He worked as a patrol officer, narcotics detective and drug prevention officer during his tenure.

During the intervening years, Lyndel worked diligently on his act. He added new illusions, special effects, and outlandish comedy to his routines until it became the impressive show it is today.
Over the years, Lyndel has entertained such corporate clients as Hawaiian Tropic, Debartelo Mall Corporation, State Farm Insurance, H & R Block, Ford Motor Corporation, Mobil, Birdseye Foods, and many others.

In addition to the many hospitality suites and corporate trade events, Lyndels magic has kept him busy winning numerous awards and accolades in the entertainment industry, including the title of Florida State Magic Champion.

He recently completed his first internationally marketed video, Magic 4 Morons which was filmed live at Universal Studios Florida. The instructional magic video co-stars acclaimed actor and sound effects comedian, Michael Winslow (Star of Spaceballs, Gremlins & all of the Police Academy movies). Lyndel has already been cast as the lead in the Pamplin Film Company produced sequel entitled Magic 4 Morons scheduled to film in the near future! Recently, Lyndel appeared on national television before an estimated 74 million viewers to promote the video on the Home Shopping Network.

Lyndel is a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, the Society of American Magicians, the Florida Association of Magical Entertainers, the North American Association of Ventriloquists, The International Festival & Event Association, and is the current 2007-2008 President of the Central Florida Magic Association.
