About
The Class of '68" is a 1960's rock and roll band that captures the energy and enthusiasm of, what many would consider, the "golden age" of Top 40's greatest hits. Anyone who grew up in Chicago with WLS or WCFL will recognize Class of ’68 standards like "Bend Me, Shape Me"... "The Letter"...and..."Devil With The Blue Dress".
These and many other timeless classics, take the listener on a journey back to a simpler time and place. Those hearing 60’s music for the first time are guaranteed to fall in love with it. Those hearing them for the first time in awhile are guaranteed to fall in love with it all over again. 60’s rock and roll is truly “feel good music for everyone.â€Â
The Class of ’68 has just released its second full length CD and has performed in all sorts of venues from country clubs to summer festivals and everything in between. The band has also been one of a handful of Chicago area bands selected twice in three years to perform at the Suburban Park and Recreation Association annual showcase.
No need to worry about the band’s appearance, they always “dress the part†and use vintage equipment. If you haven’t seen a Vox Super Beatle since the “Fab Four†played Shea Stadium, you won’t be disappointed. The band usually appears in the Abbey Road Beatle jackets, as well as the “Hard Days Night Suit.â€Â
