Why hire Caller Bob?
Bob Loyd is a Square Dance Caller who has been teaching and calling for modern western square dancers (MWSD) since 1982. Along the way he has also specialized in non-dancer parties and includes line dances, circle mixers, contras and even easy level (social) ballroom dance and country two-step instruction. The participants on the floor determine what happens and how much fun ;-) they can handle.
Concerts are great, but, the real fun begins when we clear the floor, put on some good music, join hands in a great-big circle or squares and move to the music.
Young and old alike sharing the unique human ability to enjoy rhythm and melody is a wonderful thing to behold.

Caller Bob was hired for a family reunion I had planned an event for at Big Cedar Lodge. He called me the day prior to the event to confirm the times and details (which was great because the location changed and I forgot to tell him). Sorry Bob!!
He arrived on time and was more than I could have hoped for. He was courteous, funny, and was able to get the entire family to participate in the Square Dancing.
The next day he called in to thank me for booking him and let me know how everything went from beginning to end. He is very polite and easy to work with. I would recommend him to anyone and will definitely use him next time I need a "caller".
