September 21, 2025Everyone wants to do this again!
Our church group of 25 were all newbies to square-dancing, with mostly singles. John made us all feel welcome, and taught us the moves in each steps. Most of it was done in a large circle, or circle of pairs. Then we learned to trade “partners” so everyone mingles and just had a grand time. People are asking if we could do this every month!! Our thanks to John for a delightful evening. PS he was early and had very good sound equipment.

Our family had a wonderful fun experience learning square dancing from John. We had a party of 30 ranging from 6 to 80 years old. John was patient and flexible with our group of 30 ranging from 6 to 80 years old. Everyone had a great time dancing and bonding. Thank you John!

John was so accommodating and fun. He was patient as non of us ever square danced before. He gave us his background and square dance background. Explained every move. Sometimes we were all mixed up and he would just laugh and start the moves over. Would definitely have him for another event.

I have been square dancing since I was 18 years old (about 42 years ago!!), with a bit of a hiatus..... Started calling in 1975 and returned to that in 2012. I am a member of Callerlab, and really enjoy providing the fun that is only found in Square Dancing.
