He is a versatile entertainer who gets folks up while easily learning a little square dance Rick has the proper licensing to perform the music-releasing the sponsor from Music licensing Liability. I provide additional services if needed such as Emcee services-dinner/dessert music. I provide a state of the art PA system and you provide a table and electricity-It really is just that easy! Rick was such a great addition to our event this past Sunday night! He was even recovering from a terrible cold and still showed up and did an amazing job!! He and his wife were very kind and we had great communication before he arrived. I highly recommend him for your next event- so much fun and very clear instructions that made it easy for everyone to understand and have a blast! Thank you Rick!!

Rick was responsive and communicative prior to the event ensuring he had an understanding of our event and preferences. He let me know when he was headed to the event and showed up on time with everything he needed to set up promptly and get the party started. He was welcoming to guests and took requests for songs. He played to the crowd and was a pleasure to work with!

November 28, 2017Fall school square dancing event
We had our caller for an hour and everyone enjoyed it- however some people wished that it was more complex and fast paced so that we couldn’t have gotten much more out of our 1 hour long time. 1 hour wasn’t enough we were having too much fun!

Had Rick come to Oakdale 4-H's Christmas Party. The members had fun ages from 5 to 18. Loved the square dancing and all the other dances requested by the kids.

What to expect
I provide all PA Equipment, Music Licensing,Instruction to NON-Square Dancers. The folks will be dancing in less than 3 minutes-Fast paced and Modern recognizable music-NOT scratchy old fiddle records. Expect a Blast and more fun than you've had in a long time

My Career- I am a Professional Square Dance Caller My 23 years in radio leads to me being perfect as your Emcee or Dinner/Dessert DJ. I KNOW MUSIC
My Calling Philosophy- I believe that Calling your event in an up-tempo presentation with well produced , studio quality music brings a fresh approach to a time tested activity. I believe that events must be fun and a success for the sponsor(s)
My Personal Philosophy- I believe that my family (My lovely wife Lynn and 2 my GREAT daughters, Jessica and Cassie and My Grandsons- Landon ,Lucas and Demitri along with. Granddaughter Addelyn, my career and my life are a gift from GOD and thank him daily for these and so many more blessings I have been given.
Additional booking notes
All you need to provide is a table,Shade is a MUST for medical reasons and dry if an outdoor event and electricity ran to it-I handle the rest.-You have no worries.
Parking for 1 car at or very near the table/stage is a MUST. Loading docks are fine if the car stays there thruout!

a Modern Square Dance Party

Influences and inspiration
I base my squaredance party on the energy you might find at a concert or big game- My music is varied from original artists like Neil Diamond, Elton John, Modern Country, 70's, and even Old School, techno and the scissor sisters-Upbeat, Positive and Fun!!!
Setup requirements
Parking for 1 car at or VERY near the stage/table-a sturdy table (prefer cafeteria style square or rectangular-Round ONLY if nothing else is available-Electricity (Household 120VAC) and a standard 3prong outlet
