About
Will Sims is a Baltimore-based singer and songwriter whose music lives at the intersection of rock, alternative, and pop—equal parts emotional weight and undeniable punch. A fixture of the Mid-Atlantic music scene for over a decade, Sims has built a reputation for crafting hook-driven songs that balance vulnerability with intensity, moving seamlessly from intimate confessionals to full-throttle anthems.
Influenced by the melodic heart of ’90s rock and the grit of modern alternative, Sims’ sound nods to artists like Matchbox Twenty, Goo Goo Dolls, and Oasis, while embracing heavier and more experimental edges. His catalog reflects a restless creative spirit: from the emotional pull of “Will You Remember?” and “Lovesick,” to the reggae-infused ease of “Unwind,” the hip-hop-leaning “Gun to Your Head,” the hard rock charge of “Wrecker,” and the electronic-rock energy of fan favorite “Better Off Alone.” No matter the style, Sims’ songs remain grounded in honest storytelling and emotional resonance.
His 2024 album Do You Feel Alive? marked his most ambitious and personal release to date. A decade in the making, the seven-track record weaves together alternative rock, pop, ska, funk, industrial, and EDM influences into a cohesive journey of survival, growth, and hope. Produced with longtime collaborator Tony Correlli at Deep End Studio, the album showcases Sims at his most fearless—pushing genre boundaries while staying rooted in raw emotion and melodic clarity.
Released February 6, 2026, “I Gave It All For You” represents a defining moment in Will Sims’ evolution as an artist. Produced by Grammy-nominated Tony Correlli and featuring drummer Cody Cook, the track is a hard-hitting rock anthem built around a commanding riff and unflinching emotional honesty. Drawing influence from the heavier sides of Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails, and Alice in Chains, the song pairs crushing intensity with vulnerable reflection.
Lyrically, “I Gave It All For You” explores the cost of chasing purpose—sacrificed time, strained relationships, and the relentless pull of becoming who you’re meant to be. It’s a song about self-discovery through loss, commitment through uncertainty, and the toll of pursuing a dream without compromise. More hands-on than ever before, Sims performed nearly all of the instrumentation himself, channeling a deeply personal urgency into every layer of the track.
The result is a powerful statement piece—one that signals a new chapter and hints at what’s to come on his forthcoming album, It Was Only a Dream.
On stage, Sims is known for dynamic, emotionally charged performances that forge a genuine connection with audiences. He has performed throughout the East Coast and shared stages with national acts including Puddle of Mudd, Saving Abel, Adema, Otep, Taproot, Hurt, Smile Empty Soul, Ballyhoo, Jimmie’s Chicken Shack, and Return to Dust
With airplay across radio stations, online stations and podcasts worldwide, Will Sims continues to carve out his space as an artist unafraid to evolve. Whether in the studio or on stage, his mission remains the same: to create music that lingers—songs that hit hard, cut deep, and leave a lasting emotional mark.
