About
Violist Rachel Hall enjoys an emerging career as a chamber musician, recitalist, pedagogue, and orchestral player. Rachel received a Bachelor’s in viola performance at Cleveland Institute of Music, a student of Stanley Konopka, and completed a Master’s in performance at Florida State University studying with Pamela Ryan. A graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy, she began viola studies at age eight with former teachers Marilyn Seelman and David Holland. Mrs. Hall received additional instruction from Robert Vernon and Helen Callus. She worked with FSU viola students as a graduate teaching assistant and served as an adjunct faculty member at Cuyahoga Community College.

Influences and inspiration
I grew up in a very musical family, which sparked my love for music at a young age. I have had incredible music teachers along the way, both in school and in private lessons. I wouldn't be who I am without my incredibly gifted family and the teachers who have helped me every step of the way!
