Hire Catherine... we did Twice!!

We highly recommend Catherine for your next special occasion!!! My fiance (at the time) hired her for our engagement. He said she was very professional and communicated effectively. For me, Catherine and her violin added a classy, unexpected feature to an emotional joyous occasion in our lives!

Catherine is an extremely talented musician!! in fact, she did such a great job that we asked her to also play for a wedding five months later. Even though Catherine already had an engagement scheduled on the day of our wedding, she assured us that she would do whatever necessary to make it to our wedding on time and play the wedding processionals, and she did! Hire Catherine, and you will not be disappointed

Could not have asked for better

I found Catherine on this site. Immediately, she was so kind and easy to deal with. Our wedding was postponed from Oct 2024 to Feb 2025 due to the storm that hit Augusta, GA. When contacted after the storm, she was so flexible and even willing to reimburse. Luckily, We were able to reschedule the wedding for 2/8/25. Her performance was amazing. We had numerous music requests for music; she played all the requested songs flawlessly and everyone was wow’d. I would recommend Catherine 100x over. Not only is she insanely talented, she is professional. Go with her- you will not be disappointed.

Perfect wedding music

Catherine played for our wedding ceremony and her music helped make our ceremony so beautiful. Her playlist is extensive and so many of our guests commented n how much they enjoyed the pre-ceremony mini concert. She was easy to communicate with, prompt in her replies and worked with me to add a special song for my groom that wasn't on her original playlist. She was early to the venue and payment was a breeze. She is a completely professional and talented musician. Highly recommend!

About

Dahlia Strings is a string ensemble including any combination of soloist, duo, trio and quartet ensembles located in the Atlanta, Georgia area and is organized by Catherine Evergreen. Members of Dahlia Strings have over 12 years of professional experience performing for weddings, birthdays, proposals, dinner parties, quinceañeras, festivals, and other events. They are graduates of the Manhattan School of Music, Berklee College of Music, Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University, and the University of Georgia. Dahlia Strings has performed at venues such as the Gas South Arena in Duluth, GA; The Grand Opera House in Macon, GA; Gwinnett Church in Sugar Hill, GA; The Yonah Mountain Vineyards in Cleveland, GA; and Saint Brigid Catholic Church in Johns Creek, GA.

Catherine Evergreen initially gained her musical inspiration through her parents and siblings. Her family provided her countless opportunities to perform, to participate in event planning, and to experiment with a variety of music, including classical, jazz, bluegrass, rock, and pop. One of her favorite things is hosting chamber music parties where she will invite musicians to her home to play both modern and classical music for enjoyment. Not only does Catherine write her own arrangements of pop songs at the request of clients, she also prides herself in being able to provide a vast selection of authentic classical masterpieces, which was her priority of focus during her studies at the Manhattan School of Music.

You can expect Dahlia Strings to be cordial, professional, and always excited to perform. Not only are they highly skilled musicians, they also add a fun vibe to any event with a spirit of comradery, enthusiasm to provide quality service, and genuine love of music.

Influences and inspiration

Catherine was influenced by classical music growing up and through her studies at the Manhattan School of Music. Since then, she has been influenced by many artists, including Lindsey Stirling.
