Overview
As the in-house duo for the Westin Bayshore Hotel's high tea event every Sunday, Vancouver Duo provides an elegant combination of pop and classical music for any occasion. From weddings, to corporate events, festivals, birthday parties we perform (all from memory!) an extensive range of popular music, with special requests welcome.

Meet the Players!
CMC associate composer and violist, Thomas Beckman, serves as Festival composer for the Artists for Conservation, in-house-composer for MillsPictures Studio, and violin and viola instructor at World of Music and Arts. As an active musician Thomas performs with top entertainment group Sons of Granville, and collaborates with pianist Kitty Lam in The Arbutus Duo, guitarist Bojan Bugarinovic in Elation Duo, and harpist Josephine Lee in Violin and Harp.
Josephine Lee has starred as Vancouver's premiere harpist for the past 28 years, playing for Musical Occasions, Ensemble Sospeso, Parlour Steps, Union Club and the Empress Hotel. A graduate of the University of Victoria under Taka Kling, Josephine developed as reputable solo artist in Vancouver Island and from there went on to dominate the gig-scene in Vancouver as one of BC's most-in-demand harpists.

We bring our own PA, but are open to plugging into the venue's PA for which we'd use two guitar cable inputs.
