Perfect Soundtrack for Dad's 90th Bday Bash!

We threw a white tent backyard BBQ for 40 people in my Dad's backyard early September 2024. Mim & friends did an absolutely gorgeous set of accoustic music, couple of vocal tunes and a last song 'sing a long'. It was a fun, uplifting blend of folk, celtic, bluegrass and the guests loved it. My dad said multiple times how much he liked it --and he's pretty picky about music. It added so much LIFE to the party and we couldn't have been more happy with the professional quality & talent of Trillium. Would hire them again in a second-- everyone from age 50 - 90 loved them!

So caring during our mom’s funeral seevice

Loved working with Mom and Scott they are profession and deeply caring people. We had just lost our Mom and she worked closely with me on a song selection list and music for her funeral service. It was beautiful and an amazing celebration of Mom’s life. I am so thankful they we part of it. I would highly recommend them. And I would use them again. Lovely playing and beautiful voices.

Exceeded our expectations

We couldn't have asked for more from this group. These are some seriously talented and engaging artists. Their service came at a very reasonable price, they were easy to communicate with, and adapted well to a unique setting. Thank you, Trillium.

What to expect

In many ways, Trillium is a folk group which appeals to people who think that they really don't like folk music ... as well as those who do! Our extensive, eclectic repertoire ranges from Celtic to bluegrass to ragtime to country to Americana to swing, moving easily from one genre to the next, taking our audience along with us. Most of our tunes are trad/anon or public domain, both instrumentals and vocals, some cover tunes, a few singer/songwriter, but all of our arrangements reflect our collective creative energy and the extraordinary playing styles of four very accomplished musicians.

We've recorded four cds: "Over the Waterfall" (2006), "The Moody Leprechaun (2007), "Crossing the Stream" (2009), and "The Rattlin' Bog" (2015), many tracks from which have been played on folk and Celtic radio programs throughout the U.S. and Canada and streamed globally. We've also been broadcast live on NPR stations on many occasions as well.
