Bob was hired for a public celebration event. He showed up early, was very professional, easy to communicate with, and he played the perfect songs for the vibe of the event. I did not have to make any suggestions. I received multiple people asking for his info and I saw many dancing around to the beat of the song. I would hire again!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Bob Peace perform at our school event, and he was outstanding from start to finish. Bob arrived early, was so incredibly warm, professional, and communicative. He truly went above and beyond, and actually learned and performed a set of somewhat obscure children’s songs that we had requested for the evening. His music delighted both kids and parents throughout the event, and his setlist was the perfect balance of fun and artistry. Bob is an impressively talented musician and I cannot recommend him highly enough! We hope to have him back for future events!!!

September 18, 2025Great music - just set expectations
Bob is a super talented musician and really set a great vibe for our wedding — everyone had a blast dancing and enjoying the music! He definitely made himself at home, though — took a few more breaks than planned, enjoyed some beers, and didn’t say no to cake (who could blame him?). Overall, he kept the night fun and lively, we’d just recommend setting clear expectations ahead of time so everyone’s on the same page.
Edit: Bob, thanks for following up. To clarify, the 4-star review wasn’t because you didn’t extend your set — but you also weren’t willing to when we asked nor did you ask for additional compensation to do so. You just packed up and left. Additionally, you took a break, played three songs, then took another break. During that time, the energy dipped, guests started losing interest, and we had to ask our day-of coordinator to have you get back on stage.
As a side note, when we spoke on the phone, you had mentioned taking one break halfway through the show, so we were caught off guard by the extra downtime especially given that you had just taken a break.

Hey Keith, thanks for the info and replying to my reply. I’m sorry for any confusion. When we booked this two months ago I recall we discussed a three-hour wedding, but I don’t recall if we specified the first hour for dinner and the next two for reception. I think I said I’d take one break if it was all dancing. I apologize if that confused you. We firmed up some logistics the night before, but nothing about breaks was mentioned. You mentioned other things, so I understand if that got lost.
The event was great, but I don’t understand why you mentioned playing three songs and taking a break? I recorded the entire show. The first set was seven songs and 55 minutes. The second set was twelve songs and 47 minutes, and the third set was 9 songs and 53 minutes. There were two 12 1/2-minute breaks. When I finished at 8:59 PM, I was tired and from the dance floor I heard you say something like “He said 930 OK.” It was a sort of mumble, not an ask. After an intense set, I often can’t switch into business mode right away.
I apologize if I fumbled the second break. Your coordinator came over when we were near the stage, and I was back on stage quickly. Your guests loved it, and I got many compliments, even a tip despite no tip jar.
Lastly, I didn’t pack up immediately. I left my music playing until 9:15 p.m. so your guests could dance. The proprietor didn’t play music after I finished because the space was only reserved until 9:30 p.m., but I was glad I did.
I think it was a five-star show, the best of my life, except for my most recent one. I sincerely apologize if you were not completely satisfied (which is always my utmost goal). Thank you once again, and take care.

What to expect
Bob Peace plays guitar and uses a vocal harmony pedal which provides a rich layer of depth to the vocals. With his Boomerang Phase 3 Looping Pedal, Peace is able to stack multiple musical layers (guitar, bass, percussion), thus creating the sound of an exciting and adventurous one-man-band.
To be sure, the Bob Peace show incorporates elements of blues, country and rock n’ roll to keep the ambience relaxed and exciting all at once.
Bob Peace brings the latest sound equipment and gear (if required) and shows up an hour before the show to set up and go over details.
About
He's made a living busking in NYC's Central Park and Subway Stations, earning him an interview and jingle on New York's WFUV Radio Station. Later, he performed 6-8x/week at resorts and chateaus around New England, while his debut record, 2009's The Peace, was heard on NPR and garnered a 3/5 star review on All Music Guide (Dave Matthews Band's Crash received 3.5/5). Peace has welcomed Phish drummer Jon Fishman to sit in with his band.
