Great band for an all-ages event

We hired the Thursday Collective for a large shared birthday party for a 3 year-old and a 75 year-old. The band customized their set to our group, everyone had something to connect to, and everyone danced their socks off.
The were also great to work with. We hope to have them back!

We love The Thursday Collective!

We host an annual event with a guest list made up of folks from their mid-twenties through early sixties. The Thursday Collective has a great vibe that gets everyone in a dancing mood. They are responsive, very easy to work with, can set up in any space, and happy to accommodate your musical taste. Fingers crossed they'll always be available for our future events!

Played Our Wedding

The Thursday Collective played a 90 minute set during cocktail hour at our outdoor summer wedding in August 2023. They set the vibe perfectly. We worked together beforehand on the plan for timeline of the day, sound equipment plans, and what kind of sound and style we were going for. They were communicative and awesome! Thank you Ted, Anneka, Terry and James!

The Thursday Collective is a Seattle-based collaborative effort conceived by John Tomlinson. We have been exploring and performing instrumental based music since 2018. Our eclectic style includes jazz, funk, standard and pop, originals and covers, curated by the musical loves of the band members. This year we are very excited to add vocals by Anneka Olson, a frequent opener for Greta Matasa. We are always excited to include guest singers and players in the set.

John Tomlinson - Hammond and Yamaha keyboards
Ted Gauld - Guitar
Steve Germiat - Bass
Jason Van Pelt - Drums and alto sax
Dave Erickson - Tenor sax
Terry Tanner - Drums and percussion
Anneka Olson - Vocals
