Overview
We are an acoustic band consisting of two singing siblings and their favorite guitar player! Our setlists range from covers of Motown and R&B to Punk Rock and Pop. We can provide up to 3 hours of live music at bars/lounges as well as a range of public and private events such as street fairs, reunions, corporate parties, weddings, etc. Our catalog is extensive and always expanding! We're also happy to accommodate pre-show requests. Drummer and/or bass player available for an additional fee.

We hired this lovely group to perform at an outdoor birthday party for my husband. It was a family friendly event with about two dozen kids and adults. The Potential Spam wss super accommodating with clean lyrics (and being unperturbed by kids roaming about). Beautiful voices, super easy going vibe and music from across the decades. We loved every moment from their coordination (super responsive), set selection (the mashups were the absolute best), performance (beautiful voices and acoustic vibe) and interactions with our guests (friendly). THANK YOU! Will definitely hire again

Potential Spam is magical group that brings a joyful soul to every performance. I have seen this group perform countless times and have had the honor of also hosting them in multiple of my own showcases. They are as talented as they are professional and they have an undeniable ability to keep their audience engaged and mystified. Bringing beauty, fun, as well something new and different to each of their sets, every show they have done feels special and more exciting than the last.

About
The Potential Spam is a band that formed after three individual artists realized they were sick of listing all of their names for collaborative performances. The singers, Kera Ioane and kayjohn, are siblings who grew up singing together and sharing their eclectic love of music throughout the years. The talented guitarist, v.EYE.p., grew up playing the bass in his church band and seamlessly transitioned to the acoustic guitar and ukulele.
Based in Los Angeles, The Potential Spam performs a range of acoustic covers (and originals if it fits the occasion) from genres including R&B, Motown, Country, Pop, Island Reggae, Alternative Rock, and Punk. They've played at various bars across L.A. as well as intimate, private gatherings and are eager to expand their opportunities for any event you have in mind!
Drummer and bass player are available upon request for an additional fee.
