We like to keep things simple: you tell us what you’re planning, and we’ll help make the music fit. Before your event, we’ll hop on a quick consultation call to hear what you have in mind, talk through the timeline and logistics, and get a feel for the kind of atmosphere you’re looking to create. From there, we take care of the musical details so you don’t have to.

On the day of your event, we show up with everything we need to sound great and handle setup, sound check, and performance logistics ourselves. We’re big believers in reading the room, so while we’ll come prepared with a plan, we’re never afraid to change it when the crowd calls for something different.

And then there’s our Interactive Setlist. It’s our way of turning the audience into part of the show, letting guests interact with our 350+ song repertoire and request what they want to hear from their seats. It’s completely customizable and can even be incorporated into fundraisers and other creative event ideas. It’s one of those things that’s easier to show you than explain, so ask us about it!

We can also adjust our setup to suit your event needs, from a simple acoustic duo to a larger lineup with additional musicians. We’re happy to talk through the options and find what makes the most sense for your space, crowd, and budget.

Our goal is for you to have one less thing to worry about and for your guests to leave talking about the music.

We’re Maddie & Jake, a Boston-based acoustic duo bringing soulful vocals, guitar-driven arrangements, and a little bit of personality to events throughout New England. Our 350+ song repertoire covers pop, country, rock, soul, nostalgic favorites, and today’s hits, but we’re not the kind of duo that shows up with a setlist and plays it straight through. We read the room, take requests, and build our sets around the people in front of us. Our Interactive Setlist takes that one step further, giving guests a chance to browse our songs and request what they want to hear right from their phones.

Between the two of us, we have over 10 years of experience performing, producing, and planning events, and we’ve learned that the best live music doesn’t just fill the room; it becomes part of the experience. Sometimes that means keeping things laid-back while people talk over cocktails; sometimes it means getting everyone singing along to a song they forgot they loved. We’re always paying attention to the room and adjusting as we go.

Jake is a Berklee-trained multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, bass, drums, piano, and vocals. At the same time, Maddie brings years of experience as a vocalist along with a background in event production and coordination. That combination gives us a pretty extensive musical toolkit, but more importantly, it means we know how to make the music work for the moment.

We can keep things simple and intimate with an acoustic duo setup, bring a little more energy when the occasion calls for it, or expand our lineup with additional musicians for a bigger sound. No two events are exactly alike, and we like it that way.

What We Need

Performance space: Enough room for 2 people, 2 mic stands, 1 guitar + guitar stand, and our speaker setup (if applicable).
Power: Access to a standard electrical outlet near the performance area.
Before the event: Set-up location, load-in/parking instructions, event timeline (if applicable), and the name + contact information for our on-site contact.
That’s it! We bring our own instruments, sound equipment, and everything else needed for our performance.
