Giancarlo is an LA-based percussionist and drummer with more than 25 years of professional experience performing Latin, jazz, salsa, and contemporary music. He has performed and recorded with major artists across the Latin and jazz world, bringing both versatility and high-level musicianship to every event.
His group can easily adapt from an intimate trio or quartet to a larger band, covering everything from Latin jazz and smooth background music to salsa, and high-energy party sets. Whether you need elegant music for cocktails and dinner or a lively band to keep the party moving, the ensemble can be tailored to fit the atmosphere and style of your event.

Technical needs depend on the size of the group and the venue, but we keep things simple and flexible. For most performances, we require a clean performance area, access to power, and adequate space for the musicians and instruments. For outdoor events, shade or weather protection is strongly recommended. Sound requirements vary depending on the room and ensemble size; we can coordinate with the venue or production team in advance regarding microphones, monitors, PA, backline, and setup. We also appreciate reasonable load-in access and enough setup time before guests arrive. Final technical details will always be confirmed with the client ahead of the event so everything runs smoothly.
