Jumpin' Joz Swing & Jazz Band

We hired Jumpin' Joz to play at a high school Mardi Gras event and they were amazing! The guys were incredibly professional; coming early to set up and bringing all of their own equipment to be ready when the students came out for lunch. The music was perfect and by the end of the event everyone, young and not so young, were certified jazz lovers. It was a fantastic afternoon for our students and we will definitely be keeping them in mind for future events.

They provided the soundtrack for my father's 100th birthday party. 130 guests, Jumpin Joz played from the cocktail party, through the dinner itself, and the requisite happy Birthday. Very professional, easy to work with, and able to handle special requests. For example, upon my fathers entrance they went into New York New York with a very simple cue.

The Jumpin’ Joz band play an amazing variety of music for all ages including swing standards, jazz, rhythm and blues and even some old-time rock and roll. Rick is a consummate showman and entertainer and their style of music was perfect for getting people of all ages up out of their seats and dancing. We highly recommend the Jumpin’ Joz Jazz Band for parties, swing dances, and corporate events. We had guests who were non-dancers as well as swing and ballroom dancers and their variety of music got everyone out of their seats and dancing. They are so much fun! My wife’s parents were thrilled and thought the music was great even though they aren’t big fans of jazz music. Thank you, Rick, and your amazing musicians for making our wedding celebration an unforgettable night of great music, dancing and fun!
