The Family

We will be professional and punctual. We will give a quality performance, performing different genres of music unless otherwise specified.

The Family is a band that consists of experienced musicians, who come from all walks of life.
We have combined our talents under one title called “The Family”. Our expressed purpose is to uplift people through music. Experienced musicians, who are pioneers in the music industry, with the ability to perform many genres of music. The Family members came together in the year 2015, with an inspirational vision from its founder Donald Woods aka Deen Demetrius. After looking at the social climate of our city (Baltimore), we The Family believe that music is healing. Using music as a vehicle to heal, to inspire love, peace, and happiness, throughout our city, is his vision, as he sees us all as family.

The Family has performed at Baltimore's Inner Harbor for a “Stop the Killing”, No Child left Behind” event. And a host of other charity events, fundraisers for Bea Gaddy, public, “Back to School events, and summer festivals. Wedding, parties and holiday events for hire.

Performances in Delaware, Perryvillle, Maryland, Hartford County, and many venues within the city and surrounding areas. Our motto is “Love For All” and “Hatred For None”, for WE ARE THE FAMILY AND YOU ARE OUR FAMILY TOO.

We have our own lighting and sound system.
