Some bands play shows, some bands make memories. With hundreds of performances spanning the last 8 years, The Box Band is well experienced in making memories for audiences young and old. The quartet (Drums/Fiddle/Guitar/Mandolin) plays a unique blend of bluegrass/folk/blues that always leaves audiences wanting more. The band prides itself on not only delivering a high quality musical experience but also an engaging one that makes everyone in attendance feel like they are part of the show. Playing everything from festivals, weddings, parties and corporate events, the band is ready for anything. We can't wait to bring our huge list of fun covers and originals to a stage near you!

I wholeheartedly recommend anyone hire The Box Band for your event. The Band was so easy to work with, genuine, funny and talented. They helped bring my husband's 40th birthday from a chill gathering at a barn to a night of real merriment for our friends & fam. My husband also jammed with them for happy birthday which was really cool. Thanks again guys!

What to Expect
The Box Band is a high energy, family friendly show with a loose feel and crowd interaction.
The most enjoyable part about The Box Band is the vast array of covers they are able to perform in their own style. Their original music is also fun and palatable for everyone. The Box Band has two full sound systems, and when playing weddings, offer a cocktail hour performance as well as post dinner DJ services without having to move any gear.
About
The Box Band is a 3-piece Americana/bluegrass band hailing from Chicago. Playing everything from bluegrass/blues/folk/, The Box Band plays songs you know, and some you might not, with their own unique twist. The three members; Collin Nordine (Drums), Mike Morgan (Guitar), David Hannibal (Mandolin), perform with energy and enthusiasm, providing a memorable and enjoyable musical experience. Their wide range of covers and growing list of fun original songs will leave everyone happy.
Additional Booking Notes
The Box Band doesn't require much to come perform. That's really the glory of it. We show up with everything we need to perform, and you just sit back and enjoy the show! All we need is a power supply and a spot to play!(Stage not required)
