They helped bring my husband's 40th birthday from a chill gathering at a barn to a night of real merriment for our friends & fam. The most enjoyable part about The Box Band is the vast array of covers they are able to perform in their own style. Their original music is also fun and palatable for everyone. The Box Band has two full sound systems, and when playing weddings, offer a cocktail hour performance as well as post dinner DJ services without having to move any gear.
The Box Band is a 3-piece Americana/bluegrass band hailing from Chicago. Playing everything from bluegrass/blues/folk/, The Box Band plays songs you know, and some you might not, with their own unique twist. The three members; Collin Nordine (Drums), Mike Morgan (Guitar), David Hannibal (Mandolin), perform with energy and enthusiasm, providing a memorable and enjoyable musical experience. Their wide range of covers and growing list of fun original songs will leave everyone happy.
The Box Band doesn't require much to come perform. That's really the glory of it. We show up with everything we need to perform, and you just sit back and enjoy the show! All we need is a power supply and a spot to play!(Stage not required)
