Our clients should expect a custom tailored group and play list for their event. No event is too small or too large for us. Our groups are based on the clients musical tastes, events space and budget.

Looking for the right group of musicians to provide great music for your event? SV JAZZ LLC has groups of all sizes to cover your event from start to finish. Our groups start with our popular four-piece group The Sharp Four and adds members forming larger groups including The Little Big Band and The All Stars Big Band.

No event is too small or too large for our groups. Most of our medium to larger crowd clients/events hire our Sharp Four for the cocktail/dinner hour followed up by The Little Big Band or The All Stars. We do also custom tailor our group's make up and size to your musical taste, space available and budget. For example, hiring the Sharp Four to cover your cocktail/dinner hour will reduce your overall costs as less musicians will be there for your entire event. You might want a Holiday Party with vocalist, a horn and a three-piece rhythm section.

The Sharp Four is typically composed of tenor sax, trombone, acoustic bass and guitar. If dancing or drums are desired the trombone switched over to drums. The tenor sax can also double on alto and soprano sax. The trombone can also double on trumpet. If desired the guitar can be swapped out for piano. This is by far our most popular group for festivals, social events where talking is important, cocktail/dinner hours, restaurants and commercial events. This group is popular as the make up doesn't interfere with conversations like trumpet, alto sax, vocals, keyboards and drums.

The Little Big Band is made up of trumpet, trombone, sax, guitar/piano, acoustic bass and drums available with or without male and/or female vocalist. This group is very popular for people looking for a big band as the group gives a full sound at half the price of a big band.

The All Stars Big Band is our largest and most expensive group to hire because of the amount of musicians in the group. This group puts on a Vegas style performance featuring our male vocalist on mainly Frank Sinatra songs along with some Dean Martin, Michael Buble, Harry Connick, Nat King Cole, Bobby Darin and others. This is not you typical 40's style band. This is a hard driving band full of jazz musicians who can solo. Combining the Little Big Band to open for this group is a good touch.

SV JAZZ requires two dedicated electrical for band use only, close parking for loading/unloading, food and drinks for musicians when served to guests (vendor meals are fine) and available in tuxedo, suits, business casual or other dress within reason.
