I play original music inspired the Rocky Mountains of Colorado in solo, duo, trio, quartet, or quintet (full band) settings, and can cater my band to fit the needs of your event.

If you are looking to add a touch of "Colorado" to your event, this music is perfect for you. Audiences can expect uplifting, beautiful original acoustic music that functions as a backdrop to a gathering or as the main event, depending on your needs. I have played countless wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions, along with a wide variety of corporate events, picnics, and parties. This music pairs well with local beer, bluebird days, and trailheads.

I can provide a fully functioning PA system so that you don't have to think about sound needs, and with over a decade in the business, I know what questions need to be asked and addressed to make sure that everything goes as smoothly as possible.

I am not a "cover band", in the sense that I do not play top 40 or generational hits, but I am certainly open to requests ahead of time, whether it be for a birthday or a first dance.

Summers Baker is a Songwriter, Musician, and Band Leader from Denver, CO. He has been a staple of the Colorado Bluegrass and Acoustic scenes for over a decade, having performed at many major venues in Colorado, including the main stages at Telluride Bluegrass Festival, RockyGrass, and Red Rocks. He has also toured India twice with Colorado based act, "The Bluegrass Journeymen" to do cultural outreach work.

Summers works as the band leader and songwriter for Meadow Mountain, a nationally touring Bluegrass act that has performed at official showcase stages for multiple industry conferences, headlined The Bluebird Theater in Denver on multiple occasions, and won the 2017 RockyGrass band contest, which is widely regarded as a career launch point for many acoustic acts.

His goal with music is simple: to write and play the music of the Rocky Mountains. Summers was born to two mountaineers in Vail, Colorado who raised him the faces of the Colorado High Country. His music seeks to celebrate the rivers, valleys, and peaks that make Colorado such a unique place to live.

I am flexible depending on the needs for your event, and have worked in many different sound / setting configurations.

If I provide my PA system, I need access to a wall outlet. The PA system can amplify sound for gatherings of up to 150 people. It takes up about 15 square feet including the full band.

I often play acoustic with my band, which can provide background music for gatherings of up to 100 people.
