Solo Performance
As a solo artist, I perform a repertoire of 250+ songs spanning more than 70 years of music—from timeless standards and oldies to classic rock, pop favorites, and Top 40 hits. With a special love for the sounds of the 1960s and 1970s, I create engaging performances that connect with audiences of all ages. Requests are always welcome, and I work to create the perfect atmosphere for your event.

I provide a complete self-contained setup, including vocals, guitar, and a battery-powered sound system, and I'm available to travel throughout NYC and beyond.

Star & Lis Duo
For clients looking for a fuller sound while maintaining the intimacy of a smaller act, the Star & Lis Duo features the rich vocal harmonies of Star Spann and Lis Bockelman.
Combining acoustic guitar, piano, and keys, the duo performs a versatile mix of oldies, classics, and contemporary favorites. Their engaging stage presence and harmony-driven arrangements make them an excellent choice for weddings, private parties, restaurants, cocktail hours, corporate events, and community gatherings. Together, Star and Lis deliver a lively, audience-focused performance that keeps guests singing along, dancing, and fully engaged throughout the event.

Star and The Moonglow (Full Band)
For larger events and celebrations, Star and The Moonglow deliver a high-energy full-band experience inspired by the iconic sounds of the 1960s and 1970s.
The band's setlist features everything from Beatles favorites and Fleetwood Mac classics to danceable rock, pop, and soul hits, along with select original music. With powerful vocals, dynamic musicianship, and a crowd-focused approach, they create a fun, memorable atmosphere that keeps guests on the dance floor. Perfect for weddings, festivals, corporate events, private parties, and special celebrations.

I’m a singer and guitarist from Lorton, Virginia, now based in New York City, where I pursue music full-time. I’m a trained vocalist, recording artist, and winner of the “Touching Heart: Sing Your Heart Out” competition. I’ve performed the national anthem at the Congressional Football Game in Washington, D.C., and recently sang at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

I perform solo, as part of a duo, and with my band Star and The Moonglow, a 1970s inspired cover band. From weddings and private events to busking, I’ve played everywhere from Central Park to Lincoln Center. You can often find me performing around NYC every weekend at John Lennon’s memorial in Central Park and Sunday nights at Dekalb Market Hall in Brooklyn, taking live requests.

My original music blends folk rock, blues, and country, and I currently have two singles and a spoken word EP available, with my debut album in production.
