If when you hear all the jazz, Al Green, Otis Redding, Sam Cook or BB King, you imagine “The Memphis Jazz” music scene like “Beale St. Blues and jazz style think again. “Southern Soul” has a heart beating for American jazz., blues, pop performance. Memphis is a kind of rebirthing of where all that sound was born. “It’s got something to do with the groove, and it’s got something to do with the soul”. Memphis has got that great vibe. Southern Soul now plays live music/venues, music festivals/concerts and small cocktail party events to date in what is called southern classic soul, blues music and jazz stranards that allows them to share and give back a beautiful love of American pop music.

April 25, 2025I would give Jeff 10 stars if I could! Jeff played jazz guitar for a cocktail party for about 50 people in a historic home in Memphis. He arrived early, with plenty of time to set up. He was very careful around the home’s antique furniture and fixtures. Jeff’s music is just wonderful, and our guests were delighted to listen while they chatted and mingled. He even offered his microphone to our speaker. We could not have been more pleased with his participation in our party. Hire him for your upcoming event!!!
