May 8, 2026Great musician, but did not play selected songs
Sohrab is a great cellist and arrived on time and played beautifully for my wedding. However, my entrance song and some of our other selected songs for the ceremony were changed (without discussion). There was a lot of meaning behind the songs I chose and it made these very big moments a little less exciting. He explained after the event that some of my song selections were not good for a solo instrument, which I understand but I sent my selections months in advance. I wish we could have discussed prior to the wedding. I would still recommend him to others, but I would suggest a bit more transparency if changes are going to be made--particularly my entrance song was very important to me.

Sohrab’s created a magical backdrop to our wedding. He learned the songs we wanted to hear as we walk down the aisle enter during our reception. We couldn’t recommend him more for any special occasion. He was also amazed to work with.
