Overview
Greetings dear clients! This is XinOu Wei, violinist and leader of XinOu Wei Strings. We would be the most wonderful wonderful choice for your occasion. We are the strings of choice of the legendary Richard Clayderman at his "Timeless Romance" Carnegie Hall concert. We are virtuosic players can play in the highest artistic level-be it pop or classical. We could perform in all combinations-from solo violinist to string orchestra. Something especially close to my heart is Viennese music, as well as old American classic songs. I’m happy to share with you my playlist of songs in which you may choose from, I can also take a number of requests if the songs of choice are not included in my list.

September 24, 2026XinOu is amazing - highly recommend!!
XinOu and his string quartet played at my wedding and did an incredible job! He was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. He created custom scores for several music requests outside of this normal repertoire, and worked closely with us to make sure every arrangement was perfect.
On top of all that, he's an incredibly talented violinist. It was an honor to have him play such an important moment in our lives, and I truly can't recommend him highly enough!

September 13, 2026An Absolutely Breathtaking Wedding Performance!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Xinou Wei Strings created one of the most beautiful and unforgettable parts of our wedding day. Their performance was absolutely breathtaking—elegant, polished, emotional, and flawlessly executed. Every musician was perfectly in sync, and each piece felt so thoughtfully performed. Our guests were completely captivated and continued talking about how beautiful the music was.
What made the experience even more meaningful was having my daughter perform alongside them. Xinou was incredibly kind, supportive, patient, and encouraging with her, and that is something I will always remember and be grateful for. He made her feel comfortable and confident, and seeing her perform with such an extraordinary group was truly priceless.
I honestly could not have asked for a more perfect performance. Xinou Wei Strings are professional, innovative, creative, sophisticated, and exceptionally talented. They brought such beauty and elegance to our wedding and helped create memories our family will cherish forever.
I wholeheartedly recommend Xinou Wei Strings to anyone looking for an extraordinary musical experience. They exceeded every expectation, and I will forever be grateful for the stunning performance they gave us.

Dear clients, greetings to you! It is with great pleasure to meet you on this platform. This is XinOu Wei, a violinist based in New York. I have performed for Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden and H.R.H. Princess Madeleine and most recently, I led my 12-piece string orchestra in concert at Carnegie Hall with the legendary pianist Richard Clayderman for his “Timeless Romance” concert tour-one of the biggest shows in North America. We would be the most wonderful choice for your occasion. We are virtuosic players who can play any selection from the entire repertoire in the highest artistic level, be it pop or classical. We are able to perform as solo violinist, duo, trio quintet, string orchestra, as well as strolling violinist. I’m happy to share with you our playlist of songs in which you may choose from, I can also take a number of requests if the songs of choice are not included in my list. Though Something especially close to my heart is Viennese music. I grew up having them in my ears and it is always a highlight for me when asked to present a evening of Viennese music-waltzes, Polkas, Marches, and Operetta excerpts of Lanner, Strauss, Lehar, Ziehrer Schrammel, Heuberger, and Hellmesberger. Many of these works were originally intended, and realized by small ensembles such as a quartet or quintet in Hotels, Cafes, balls, and soirées in Vienna. My great passion is to recreate that for you, played by a small virtuoso group, as it once was, in that imperial city, in the heyday of emperor Franz Josef.
As a violinist, I have played in all prominent New York concert halls-as well as in Berlin, Paris, Hamburg, London, Lucerne (with the London Symphony Orchestra under Sir Simon Rattle), and have worked with the greatest conductors on earth, such as Sir Simon Rattle, and Riccardo Chailly. I have performed in a private recital for Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden and H.R.H. Princess Madeleine, as well as leading at America-Israel Cultural Foundation's 75th Anniversary Gala Celebration at Lincoln Center in New York, hosted by Itzhak Perlman. As a recitalist and chamber musician, I have performed with some of the foremost musicians of our day, such as James Ehnes and David Aaron Carpenter at Carnegie Hall.
I have made my home in New York since 2011, and since then have led numerous orchestras as concertmaster, those include Camerata New York, Garden State Philharmonic, Long Island Opera, Loft Opera, Central Park Symphony, Adelphi Orchestra, Glen Rock Pop, Livingston Symphony Orchestra TriCities Opera, Syracuse Opera, and most recently-New Jersey Festival Orchestra.
