Our band dresses the part. You will get a band that not only sounds rockabilly, but looks retro 1950s. We set the retro vibe. Our sets can be custom tailored from our song list. We play rockabilly, surf instrumental, 1950s, 1960s and classic rock.

Our band can arrive with our without their own backline. Our drummer Steve owns an entertainment production company and our package can include the entire stage, sound, lighting and backline setup for additional fees.

The Pyro Surfers is one of the only bands in the Las Vegas area that specializes in 50s Rockabilly music and 60s instrumental Surf, which is also a booming subculture here in Las Vegas. They are a fun representation of the roots of rock and roll which started in the south with Sam Phillips and Sun Records. Influenced by the sounds of greats such as Elvis, Carl Perkins, Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran, Wanda Jackson, Janis Martin, Brenda Lee, Connie Frances, Nancy Sinatra, Imelda May, Dick Dale, Brian Setzer, The Lively Ones, The Chantays, The Surfaris and the Ventures, their show is high energy! The Pyro Surfers have performed at nightclubs, casinos and outdoor festivals around Las Vegas.

Their musicians have decades of experience in not just the rockabilly and surf genres, but also jazz, rock, rhythm and blues, pop, reggae, oldies, vintage Vegas and country. The individual band members have been performing in Las Vegas as well as all over the world.

Their vocalist Tish L’Heureux has a Bachelor Degree from Loyola Marymount University in Theatre with a minor in Dance. She has been on tour as a singer/dancer with Legends in Concert, the lead female role in the musical “One Eyed Jack” at the MGM Scream Park, the title role in “Miss Pearl’s Cathouse Revival”. She also was a Ringmaster at Circus Circus and as a Princess/Spokesperson for the Marketing Department at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. She has taught dance and musical theatre in California, Nevada, Colorado and British Columbia. Tish has done extensive voiceover and character work for both KROQ in Pasadena, CA and KEDG in Las Vegas. In Los Angeles she had bit roles on General Hospital, Married with Children and China Beach.

Tony Grassano has been playing guitar since I was 12 years old. He’s been in countless of bands all the way from Taiwan to Canada. Tony has opened for Dick Dale, Link Wray, Coco Montoya and others. He says he, ”Lives and breathes guitar. Pick’n n grin’n before I was sin’n.”

Our drummer Steve Hansel has played with the Coasters, with Breck Wall’s Bottoms Up in Las Vegas and on tour, and most recently on the Las Vegas Strip in Island Heat. Steve is also the owner of XS Entertainment LLC, which provides stage, lights, sound and backline to entertainment and concert events throughout Las Vegas, California, Arizona and Utah. He is a producer of several musical and specialty acts and shows.

Our bass player Carter Crosby is from Orange County California. There he worked with a variety of bands, including Bobby Vera, Bob Moffitt, Willie Aames, and Bob Rains & Wall to Wall. He’s performed in schools, small clubs, on television and at the opening of Epcot Center at Disneyworld in Florida. In Nevada Carter has worked with the 'Lively Ones' surf band with Jim Masoner as well as a plethora of oldies stars including but not limited to JJ Jackson, Jules Aikens, Billy Swann, the Drifters, etc. He’s also worked with the band 'Heels over Head' with the former guitarist of the Temptations, Corey Catalano, and is currently a sub-bassist for “Zombie Burlesque” and “All Shook Up”, and primary bassist for Dennis Wise.

We can provide our own sound system, amps and microphones in case you don't have it. We may even throw in some cool lights too! We would just need to discuss the power situation.
