NightBumpers - Closing Song 2025 Clearwater Sea-Blues Festival
NightBumpers is a high energy band producing toe tapping American roots music with swinging grooves. Their music is a return to the jump/swing era of the 1940's, with influences from the likes of T-Bone Walker, Louis Jordan, Big Joe Turner, Willie Dixon and others who followed them. Early American Rock 'n Roll and even country tunes from Hank Williams and Roy Clark can be heard coming from the NightBumpers' stage. Don't be surprised if you hear some Memphis Blues, New Orleans Blues, Chicago Blues, Texas Blues, Delta Blues, West Coast / Jazz Blues, Country Blues and Boogie Woogie style blues when the NightBumpers are in the house!

Our recent performances include the 2025 Clearwater Sea-Blues Festival, the 2024 and 2025 (and soon the 2026) Lake Mirror Classic Car Show, multiple Brooksville Friday Night Live! events, and the 2024 Blues on the Hilltop Festival. Time and again, attendees tell us the same two things: "Your music makes me want to dance!" and "The band is so much fun to watch and listen to!"
We are a group of seasoned bluesmen, each with years of experience leading their own bands and performing across Florida and beyond:
Gary Hamor (bass/vocals) — Founder and Director of the Colorado Blues Society (1996–1999), numerous studio sessions and live performances
Jack Bluni (harp/vocals) — Board member of the Suncoast Blues Society, his band won 1st place in the 1991 International Blues Challenge in Memphis
John Putnam (keys/vocals) — World-class soundtrack composer, songwriter, studio arranger, and acclaimed performer in concerts and clubs
Mike Cripe (guitar/vocals) —well rounded guitarist, his band took 2nd place in the 2017 International Blues Challenge in Memphis
Mike LaSala (drums) —Toured through the southeast, performed on numerous recording projects and festivals throughout Central Florida
