Mr. Nigel Hodges approached me about offering training to strengthen families in our schools and community. As the lead counselor for all NEW Elementary school counselors, I'm always seeking new opportunitues and thinking outside the box to provide our counselors with information they can utilize to improve in their field. I was skeptical about the training, because I didn't know what to expect. I never want to waste an opportunity on something not meaningful to our field of work. I know . Hodges offers to our students one on one and in a small group setting, but he took this training and his expertise to another level. He's authentic! A true natural and obviously passionate about his work! 8 out of 11 counselors attended, and they were all in! We all left, saying that was one of the best trainings we have attended in a while. Mr. Hodges is knowledgeable and has a way of reaching his audience. By the end of the meeting, I inquired about him speaking to the entire faculty and staff at my school.

I highly recommend Mr. Hodges for any professional development. His tools change lives and inspire people to take action both personally and professionally. After having the pleasure of hearing his presentation I am confident in the work that I do. I believe it is very imperative to know your audience before any presentation. Mr. Hodges shared valuable insights with humor and authenticity. Mr. Hodges is a true inspiration for our community!

I attended this training as a new employee for an agency focused on helping families in crisis. I thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Hodges’ presentation and presenting style. He was energetic and relatable. He provided tons of information based on his personal experience which made the training extremely interesting and informative.

With my mind already prepared for another long talkative training session. I came with my doodle kit, and snacks to keep me awake. But after meeting Nigel Hodgers at the door, it was not necessary to pull those items out, because his energy was on point from his welcoming to his introduction, until the end of the session. Nigel was very knowledgably about the topic of strengthen families. His knowledge allowed the session to go as smooth and not as scripted. Nigel had my full attention during the entire session. He made me look within myself and understand that my passion goes beyond helping others if I cannot live in my own truth. During this training my desire was to grasper as much information as I can. I was eager to learn more and how I can use the skills as a case officer and soon to be professional school counselor. The participation from the group was very energetic, there was not one person who did not participate in conversation or group activities. I look forward to another training session with Mr. Nigel Hodges. Well done!
