Jody was absolutely wonderful. We had around 70 people, and he did an outstanding job of entertaining us. He was hilariously funny, on time, dressed impeccably, and talked to everyone like we had all been friends forever. Such a nice man. Everyone had a good time, and some really good laughs, which we all needed.
Mr. Fuller did an awesome job at our unit holiday event. He was very in touch with the military members attending and had a great message as part of his routine. We were all very impressed and would love to have him back anytime. Mr. Fuller was a complete professional. We can't say enough good things.
Jody did a great job at our event. His was very professional and provided good communication from the time I booked him until the event. I booked him for an after dinner comedy performance at a trade show. He was very entertaining and I thought he was a great fit for our audience.

Growing up in Opelika, AL Jody had to overcome two things: being poor and stuttering. Enlisting in the Army after high school helped him overcome the income challenges but the stuttering still poses daily challenges. After a 4 year stint as an Army medic, he returned home to attend college at Auburn University at Montgomery where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
After 9/11, Jody returned to the Army via Officer Candidate School (OCS) at Ft. Benning, GA. In November 2003, he deployed to Iraq for one year as a platoon leader of the third largest platoon in the United States Army with the 296th Brigade Support Battalion of the Army’s First Stryker Brigade.
In 2006, Jody left the active component of the Army to join the Alabama National Guard , and in 2014 transferred to the Reserves where he was promoted to the rank of Major.
When not in uniform, Jody travels the country speaking to and/or entertaining a wide variety of groups ranging from the Boys and Girls Club of America to the Department of Veterans Affairs to comedy clubs, civic clubs, and corporate America. He's worked with some of the biggest names in comedy.
Whether he's talking about growing up poor, the military, or stuttering, his show ultimately details his adapt and overcome attitude and will leave you not only in stitches but also inspired.
He is a syndicated columnist and has been published seven times in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series.
Jody enjoys meeting new people, traveling, and eating at mom and pop restaurants across the land. He currently lives in Opelika, Alabama, with his wife, daughter, and way too many dogs.
